Roamers, Neukölln, Berlin, 2014
Made an additional selection of photos for the Visit Telemark branding project I was involved in last fall.
Here is the first one. I love this portrait.

If you travel there and don’t feel like staying at a guest house, don’t miss out on Rooms Hotel. Beautiful design hotel with superb food and drinks, and of course: views.
Dr. TO’s, Neukölln, Berlin, 2014.
They make it an afternoon, drifting along the river with their own chauffeur who takes them to the small house boat look-a-likes where there is food and drinks. Just a small stop before they continue down the river and stop at a new place. Such an awesome idea, love it.

Went through the brother Grimms old neighborhoods in Germany a month or two ago with freelance writer Ellinor Skagegård.
Published today in Tidningen Vi, such a nice magazine.
Guilin -> Xian, 2013.
Right now I’m in Kassel, a small town 4 hours from Berlin, doing a coverage for a swedish magazine with Ellinor Skagegård.
Got back to Berlin yesterday after a week in Sweden. A lot of traveling right now and Ylva is coming back from Ukraine on wednesday so we will have a few days before I head for Norway.
I love traveling. Love airports, airplanes, trains, just looking out the window seeing something new. I love hotels. And I love hotel breakfast.
It’s amazing to be able to combine work with traveling like this fall has been for me so far. I get to see so much. I feel very blessed in that sense.
Yesterday I met up with Lotta and had dinner and then met Viktor & Geo and their friends for a beer near Warschauer U-bahn station at some old factory kind of look like area with lots of bar. They said it was a beer festival, seemed a bit more permanent but hey beer festivals seem to be a permanent thing here.
I’ve been on the road the last couple of weeks. Love it.
In the beginning of october it will be less airports and more editing time, and I will update this blog more often.
Until then I hope you all continue to check in and why not check me out on Instagram, my newly found love. -> moscowwayne.
I was passing by Alexanderplatz yesterday on my way for some shopping, preparing for a job week in Norway.
I’m a bit surprised this tower can be seen from all over the city, it seems to pop up where ever I’m at.
Since I got here on wednesday we’ve had so much great food & the weather’s been fantastic.
A lot of things are happening right now, really fantastic things.
Its been a few busy weeks and seems to continue that way for a while, but its just exciting. I get to travel, see stuff, meet people.
Right now I’m in Oslo for some meetings before heading to Berlin tonight. Our new home.
I like the idea of wandering around in a new city this fall.
It feels like an adventure thats just getting started. Couldn’t be more happy.
This week I’ve been in Manchester shooting a video for a company that produce dispensers with Steven Warburton for the Hello Evra Project, a collaboration between me, Steve and Future Museum.
Today we’re at Future Museums office downtown Stockholm doing some editing with Martin Ståhlberg.
It’s turning out really really good.
Quite proud about the stills!
The rain is pouring down, a nice day to stay inside.
Ylva taking a swim at Nybrokajen, Stockholm. Who would ever take a swim at Nybrokajen? Ylva would.
She is the queen of swimming.
Some tourists said “this is why i love Stockholm”.
A few weeks ago I was invited to do a wedding, the first in quite some time. It was the first time I met Frida but Daniel is someone I’ve kind of seen growing up.
His sister Malin is a dear friend and a long time ago Daniel & an old friend was a couple (it was a long time ago though).
So I was pretty excited for this, it was a lot of different people you remember since back then, and some friends you haven’t seen in a long time.
It was a great day in many ways. Especially for Daniel & Frida that were getting married of course. Now I got this to sound about me instead haha.
Well. They were beautiful, everyone was so happy, the weather was great and yes just a really nice day.
Me & Ylva are moving to Berlin in a few weeks. I’m so excited!
This weekend we spent a lot of time at our friends place, swimming & just spending time together, having some wine and enjoying the moment.
It’s been a great week and such a nice weekend. Back to Stockholm in the morning.
Talk to you soon.
A portrait of me that Ylva took. Doing some serious color matching.
Been in Manchester for a week with a roadtrip through Wales on the schedule.
Got to see some boats.
I’ve been showing these ones before. But it’s as much summer as it gets.
Daniel Gut taking a swim.
Spent the morning out in the woods today. Completely silent except birds singing.
Should be done each day.
It’s not really a matter of me me me, I just haven’t really found a nice way to present what I find interesting. There are some photographers I tend to just love whatever they do.
Johanna Wallin is one of those persons. Erika Svensson another. Julia Hetta one as well. More about them at a later time.
Anne-Claire Rohé is absolutely one. A fantastic photographer.
There is something amazing about her way to catch the calmness of life.
She is probably the only one I know that could catch the afternoon light so you feel it in your eyes.
I believe a good photo tells a story, and she is so good at it.
From time to time we send eachother letters with whats new.
She thinks I’m good at lighting. I believe she is better.
It’s nice to have a pen pal.
I stole my favorite photo from her website,
Johanna Wallin the first days of fall a couple of years ago.
check it out -> http://johannawallin.tumblr.com & http://www.johannawallin.net
Went to the library a few days ago. There is a magic feeling about those places.
I rarely find the time or peace to read more than the morning paper.
But i get the magic. It’s a door to another place, world and story.
I guess a bit like what photography is to me.
I like to read when I’m flying. Guess its time to travel then.

A couple more photos,
Water is the shit.
Well finally I’ve got myself an Instagram account. 5 years too late. Hope it is still cool.
Welcome to follow me there as well. Moscowwayne is my name there, basically because every version of my name was already taken and my signature looks a bit like it says Moscow Wayne.
I add a link as well that Instragram told me to add that I dont really know where it takes you but I think you will be alright.
I’m looking through some old photos and found this. Oh I’m still so fond of this one, taken on a rainy day in Biarritz after we’d been up in the Pyrenees on the way back to the flat in San Sebastián as we stopped for a coffee. It was a few years ago now, always kind of feels like yesterday.
Last week I had the honor to work with Elite for the first time. So exciting!
More to come..

We did some shots for a raw food book which my friend Tove Alexandersson & friends are putting together.
So much fun. My newly found awesome stylist Tove Castor did an amazing job.
Regina Svensson did the great modeling and Caroline Skogsdal assisted.
First day out on the lake & a few hours at Prästön.
Summer is h.e.r.e
There is something about Portland.
We walked til our toes bled.
It was so quite.
I just find this so fascinating.
Sometimes I get to work with the most amazing clients. Kolik Förlag is one of them. They publish some really awesome books and a magazine called Utopi.
We’ve done some portraits before of some of their authors. Always a pleasure.
This time I had the opportunity to see Lisa Medins studio and her work flow.
I was so happy yesterday receiving the email with the article from the art director, i feel that my photos really belong there in these spreads.
Like if they were my kids that just moved from home and you knew they were doing good and were happy.
And Steve deserves as always a big thank you for lots of the retouch work.
Next to our hotel there was a construction site. Our cab driver told us the hotel that was supposed to be built had been canceled due to the financial crises which affected the tourism.
We became good friends with the driver, Hussein, who took us around town pointing out different hotels; the scandinavian hotel, the newest, oldest, best-food-hotel, most beautiful hotel.
He barely charged us for sightseeing, mainly because we all seemed to have a great time. Perhaps also because he was proud, and worried about where all the tourists went.
He tagged me in a photo of a camel yesterday on Facebook. I miss him too.
It’s getting warmer outside. Just the kind of weather you barely need a jacket for. Our balcony is headed south which gives us sunshine from morning til late afternoon.
Even if I’ve longed for this day to arrive I find myself amazed that I have missed it even more than I thought.
You get used to sunshine and warm days, but never to stepping out in a cold grey winter day.
There is suddenly a scent when you step outside. Everything is getting back to life, or is born.
It’s lovely, isn’t it.
My sister in 2012 at Lill-Finn, an island in the archipelago outside Stockholm.
I’ve always found whatever involves flying to be fascinating. It might be one of few things that still amaze me as much as when I was a kid.
I remember dreaming about being a pilot, running around with a toy plane in our backyard.
Some more of Dragon Dolls, hope you like it!
Photos taken in Uppsala a very very cold day a few weeks ago. Very very cold..
Steve Warburton deserves credit as well for assisting and helping out with the retouch. He’s been involved in alot of my recent work so cheers to Steve!
Me & Steve are starting up a live session thing we’ve named Forest Sessions, which will include acts of all kind that will take place in a forest. First out we have my old dear friend Tim Koch who’s one-man-band What About Mallard did a few tracks. The video will not be up for a month, we are setting up the new website and lots around that and future acts that needs be fixed first, but til then; have a listen on his website, its worth the extra clicks. HERE YOU GO. (my favourite is Spikes)
Linn is my lovely friend who appears a little bit of everywhere in my portfolio. Nowadays she lives down the road and claims she can see our balcony from hers with a binoculars.
One more portrait of Moa.
I really feel something beautiful has been going on with my photography the last few months. Don’t know what though but it’s a great feeling to finally have found something that I’ve been longing for, maybe its a style that I feel comfortable with. I finally feel that I know what i want to do with my photography, and how i want to do it.
This year will definitely be a year of portraits.
My dear friend Moa Lundin.
Forrest + Ylva. 2011. An old one thats been at two of my exhibitions and that i clearly forgot about. Going through some old pictures, walking down memory lane some could say.
I hate snow. Let it be spring. Let it be summer.
“Paradise”, Egypt, 2013.
Went to Uppsala yesterday morning to shoot some new pictures for Dragon Dolls (check them out on Spotify),
Windy and cold, felt like being in Gothenburg in november. After a few days of what felt like spring, its amazing how fast you forget the winter.
Went to see Karin-Maria Jönssons fantastic paintings (some pictures from that is coming up in a while as well) at the library.
Starting off with a interior picture of the library where the exhibition was at. Her paintings are way more fantastic than the architecture but it was just the order I took the images -> edited them -> ended up here. You should really check out her work at karinmariajonsson.se its incredible. I’ll be back with some more photos.
Twice a year I get the chance to work as art director, photography editor and photographer. A great playground in other words.
In this issue my photos can be seen on the front page, the articles about Stefan and Oskar. Steven Warburton is the person behind the awesome whole spread picture with the typical english touch.
The editor thingy is something I would love to work more with and if someone reading this has a open spot at a magazine or internship, i would lööööv to get in touch.
There is a first time for everything.
Cross-country skating for example.

2012, Steve, An old favorite,
2012, Blaiken. Went to film and take some photos for the Winterwind 2013 conference of STV, who
makes terrain vehicles that can pass through pretty much anything which is a nice attribute if you
have a park with wind turbines that needs maintenance during wintertime . It was magical,
-27 C (-16.6 F) and the first sunny day in a long time. Except our presence it was completely silent.
A absolutely fantastic day.
2013, Tomato soup. Finally back from a few days of illness. Hey, I’m in the spoon, just realized that.. suprising life can be sometimes.
Christmas is long gone and my weeks on the road has come to an end for a while.
I’m back in Stockholm and the snow is falling down and its beautiful.
So fascinating times! This is my new website and blog, designed by Moa Nordahl and created by Per Hård af Segerstad.
It’s a part of my new graphic profile that I will show in its full edition in a few days as soon as i get this task running smoothly.
So I start of by showing my new stamp with my own name on it, never thought I would have one of those. It’s awesome.
The portfolio will be improved the upcoming days and hopefully everything will run smoothly.
A big thanks to my dear friend Moa Nordahl for your fantastic design and to my dear friend Per for your hard work making her visions come to life.
So everyone, welcome again to a new era.
